Once EMS arrives
on the emergency scene, it will be
your job to make a successful
transfer of care. The hand-off
report may save EMS personnel
valuable time by not having to
repeat questions or skills. Tell
them what you have learned about the
patient's condition, what care you
have provided and the approximate
time frames in which things
occurred. Once the hand-off report
and the transfer of patient care is
complete, you will no longer have
any patient care responsibilities. |
